Fish for salmon and other saltwater catch, kayak spectacular Desolation Sound and Toba Inlet, hike the surrounding peaks, or relax in our remote corner of the world. Pacific Mountain Lodge, located 100 air miles north of Vancouver, British Columbia, will soon offer you the best in a west coast Canadian wilderness
experience.
Pacific Mountain Lodge is situated in Homfray Channel, just southeast of Toba Inlet. The lodge and cabins are positioned so they face west looking across the channel at Mt. Addenbroke on East Redonda Island. This area of Redonda Island is an ecological reserve. The 5,000 square foot lodge with restaurant and lounge will be built from Pacific cedar timbers. Individual cabins, overlooking the water, will also be constructed of cedar timbers. To help you out with the relaxation we promised, the cabins will include hot tubs and gas fireplaces.
Desolation Sound is a stunning jewel in the crown of BC's coastal paradise. One of the most varied and unique topographical areas in the region, this far reaching sound is blessed with breathtaking scenery that becomes increasingly beautiful towards the northern end of the sound where Pacific Mountain Lodge and Toba Inlet are located.
Spectacular from sea level to the snow-capped coastal mountains 2,400 metres above, BC's largest marine park abounds with wildlife. You may spot Pacific White Sided dolphins, porpoises, harbour seals and other marine wildlife, Black and Grizzly bears, sheep, elk, deer, eagles, ducks and shore birds, with the possibility even a whale will meander by.
Our lodge, and our website, are still under construction. Please check back regularly to view our progress. Click here to see photos.
